Joint Medical Store has commenced with construction of the Gulu warehouse that is set to enhance access of Quality Affordable Health Supplies and Equipment to Health facilities and ultimately patients in the Northern Uganda region. The 7 Billion Uganda Project is expected to run for a period of one year with an expected competition date of June 2023.
Speaking during the launch, His Grace Rt. Rev. John Baptist Odama the Archbishop of Gulu catholic Dioceses thanked the JMS thanked the JMS Management and Board. He added, “This is going to be like well spring for the people of Northern Uganda. We thank you for loving and thinking about out people”. He further cautioned the contractor, King Albert Construction Company to offer Quality works and employ the local people to improve their welfare.
JMS Executive Director, Dr. Bildard Baguma revealed that the 2000 square meter warehouse will comprise 12, 000 Pallet spaces and is line with the JMS 2025 Vision that sets out to enhance access to Quality and Affordable Health supplies for the Glory of God.
