Business Development

The directorate consists of;

  1. Procurement section
  2. Communication
  3. Marketing 
  4. Business Development-Direct to Vender sourcing (D2V)

Procurement; Comprised of a dynamic team, the team is motivated by the customer satisfaction derived from 100 percentage order fill rate as a result of stock availability. The section monitors and ensures the availability of inventory at JMS. To enhance customer satisfaction, the section has a special order desk to cater for emergencies that involve non stock items.

Communication: The section‘s core objective is to enable and foster effective communication with JMS internal and external audiences. The vibrant team utilises multi-media tools to stir 2 way flow of information.

Marketing and Business Development; backed by field, sales and technical staff, the section recruits new customers and manages customers/partners relationships. It also carries out business intelligence advising Procurement and Customer Relations on market needs.

Business Development- Direct to Vender sourcing (D2V); the team coordinates the identification, registration, market entry and development of D2V  products in liason with Quality Assurance, procurement and Business Development and Biomedical Engineering sections and directorates respectively.
